Dad got his alarm installed.  Now, when any outside door opens, there is a loud female robot voice that says, "Front Door Open," or Back Door Open."  It's loud enough he can hear it.  He showed me how to turn it on and off.    The alarm has its's own cell phone to call the alarm company even if land lines are cut.  I'm impressed.  The back door is ( Read more... )
